Enabling Cookies in your Web Browser
We highly recommend that 'cookies' be enabled in your browser. The My Custom Video® web-site uses temporary session cookies that hold session sign in information and are deleted when you close your browser. These cookies enable you to view various Video Templates in a single session without having to provide your Ticket # over and over again.
The following instructions and links are provided to help you enable cookies in your Browser.
Mozilla Firefox
- Click on Tools in the menu at the top of the browser.
- Select Options from the drop-down menu.
- The Options window will appear. In the Options window, click on Privacy.
- Click on the Cookies tab.
- Check Allow sites to set Cookies.
- Check for the originating site only.
- Click the OK button at the bottom of the window. You may have to close and reopen your browser for these changes to take effect.
Internet Explorer 6.x
Option 1 (accept all first party cookies):
- From Internet Explorer's Tool drop-down menu, choose Internet Options.
- Click on Privacy and select Advanced.
- Check Override automatic cookie handling.
- Select the radio button Accept for first party cookies.
- Click OK.
- Click OK again in the Internet Options screen. You will need to close and reopen your browser for this to take effect.

Option 2: (accept cookies from a specific server only)
- From Internet Explorer's Tool drop-down menu, choose Internet Options.
- Click on Privacy and in the section under "Web Sites", click on Edit. This will bring up the "Per Site Privacy Actions" window where you can override the cookie/privacy session for a specific site.
- Enter the name of the web site (www.nacarbon.org) in the "Address of the Web site" text box.
- Select Allow. You may need to close and reopen your browser for this to take effect.
Cached May Cause Dynamic Pages Not to Display Current Version
Internet Explorer "caches" (saves a local copy of) dynamically generated pages. The browser will prefer the locally cached page to that which is being dynamically generated. To always view the latest version of a page:
- Navigate to Tools / Internet Options.
- In the Temporary Internet Files section, click on the Settings button. This will display the Settings screen.
- You will see four radio buttons under Check for newer versions of stored pages. Select Every Visit to the Page.
- Click the OK buttons. You may need to close and reopen your browser for this to take effect.
Netscape 4.7x
- From the Edit menu, choose Preferences.
- Click the Advanced category.
- Click the radio button Accept all cookies.
- Click OK. You may need to close and reopen your browser for this to take effect.

Netscape 6.x
- Click Edit on the Toolbar
- Click Preferences.
- Click the Privacy and Security category and expand the list to show the subcategories. Click cookies.
- Three options are diplayed. Click on either Enable all cookies. or Enable cookies for the originating web site only.
- If you want to be notified when a web site tries to set a cookie, select "Warn me before accepting a cookie.
- You may need to close and reopen your browser for this to take effect.

Netscape 7.xx, Mozilla
- From the Edit menu, choose Preferences. (In MacOS X, choose Preferences from the Netscape or Mozilla menu.)
- Select the arrow next to Privacy and Security.
- Click the Cookies category.
- Click the radio button Enable all cookies.
- Click OK. You will need to close and reopen your browser for this to take effect.

Opera 7.11
- From the File menu, choose Preferences.
- Click the Privacy category.
- Check Enable Cookies.
- From the Normal Cookies drop-down menu, select Automatically accept all cookies.
- From the Third Part drop-down menu, select Automatically accept all cookies.
- Click OK. You may need to close and reopen your browser for this to take effect.
Safari
- From the Safari Menu, choose Preferences.
- Click the Security icon.
- In the Accept Cookies: selection box, chose Always or Only from sites you navigate to.
- You may need to close and reopen your browser for this to take effect.
Camino
- Select Preferences from the Camino menu.
- Click on the Privacy icon.
- Click Enable cookies.
- Close the Preferences by clicking in the window's close box.
- You may need to close and reopen your browser for this to take effect.
